Celebrating 100 Posts

We couldn't picture a better way to share our 100th post than with The Everygirl. Today we're truly honored to announce a very special project for  The Everygirl featuring the season's hottest trends in Glitterary fashion. TheEverygirl is the perfect online resource for 20-something women–just ask Forbes, who rated them as one of the top 10 sites for millennial women only months after launching. Needless to say, the site is both D & S' homepage, as we daily anticipate their career, entertaining, and fashion features.

If you haven't already, we strongly recommend you visit their site and send them some love–maybe even join us in making theEverygirl your own home page! While there, be sure to leave us a comment, we'd love to hear your thoughts on our favorite spring trends. As always, thanks a million for stopping by, your support means the world to us!!

XOXO,

D + S  ;)

H&M Conscious Exclusive

Nothing could get us out the door faster than H&M's new Conscious Exclusive Collection. The truth is we've never seen a collection like this from a store like H&M, & that's not a bad thing, it's just the truth. While we love H&M's product for trends, they're not known as red-carpet designers & these looks are incredibly glamorous! We've been eying these looks online just waiting for them to reach stores & as of last week, they've arrived! After viewing each piece in stores, we can't get enough of the details-- the peplum, the trains, and the textures are all to die for-- not to mention their true to H&M prices. Our conclusion: someone needs to roll out the red carpet STAT, because we need an occasion to wear these!

Some of our favorites- can you guess which one Steph took home?...

Denim Days

Happy Monday, Glitteraries! In today's news, denim is back- And in a big way! Jackets, vests, and even denim overalls are in this season (though we can't say we love that overall idea, yet). Our recent obsession: this denim Jacket. This little number has quickly become a spring go-to, perfect for keeping a dash warmer than this windy city cares to maintain. How we're wearing it differently? We're keeping it buttoned. We've found that keeping a fitted denim jacket buttoned provides even more structure, making it into a real outfit statement. For an even bolder statement, pop that collar (trust us), layer a bold necklace, and accessorize with a splash of color! If ever theres a time to try something new it's spring, so branch out and play with the trends :)

In other news, Steph chopped nearly 6 inches off her hair last week! Surprise! It was a bold move, but we're loving this fab long bob! Thinking she's going to grow out the bangs a little too... What are your thoughts? Comment below & let us know!

Blue Suede Boots

Oh hey, windy city! Whether I like it or not, thanks to this beautiful place, my hair looks windblown almost 100% of the time. Honestly, I can't say I mind. After a few days out of town, it was so good to come back to my beloved Chicago! Now, on to the more important topic–fashion.

Booties have been one of those trends that I have long admired from afar but have never really gotten my hands on. Perhaps it's the perfectionist in me, but my search for the proper pair has been long and grueling endeavor. Color, texture, heel height, leather, and comfort, were all things I considered as I tried on what felt like hundreds of pairs.  When I final gave up my search for winter booties and decided to start my quest for the ideal summer pair, I unexpectedly stumbled upon these beauties. I guess sometimes you just have to let things 'find' you, and dare I say, they are perfect. If you haven't noticed already, S and I are huge fans of details! They can really make or break an outfit, and make styling and fashion a true art. I love the perforated suede and contrasting zippers on this pair, it gives them a little edge and are ideal for the summer heat.

Eyelet shirts, dresses, shorts, skirts...everything. Eyelet fabrics give pieces an effortless touch of femininity. While cream, white, and pastels eyelet items seem to pileup in my closet every spring and summer, I'm a sucker for almost anything cobalt blue so I was thrilled to find this little number! Cobalt blue and eyelet? Yes, please. Thanks, J.Crew for feeding my addiction.
