Welcome fellow Glitteraries, thanks for stopping by and thanks for following our social sites while we were away--your comments and likes are what keep us going! So far, we've posted a few pics, but haven't said much about our time in the Big Apple, so why not start now? Not only did all of our favorite fashionistas visit NY last week, but so did our friend, Nemo. In case you missed it, Nemo is the delicate name they gave last week's east coast winter storm, and we have to admit, as former Alaska girls, we thought the town may have overreacted just a bit...

Nemo made his debut on Friday, and though uncomfortable and dangerous for heels, the storm was but a few inches of freezing rain/snow--nothing we couldn't brave. Of all our time spent in the Big Apple, Friday was the day we'd most anticipated! We had a couple of events scheduled, but who are we kidding? Kate Spade's fall preview stole the spotlight, and we weren't going to let a little storm rain on that parade! (show recap & pics coming soon..)

Our looks for day 3 of NYFW are two of our favorites, because they are each so perfectly reflective of our personalities, perfect for Kate Spade, and perfect for New York. Appropriate for a winter storm...? Well, sometimes fashion wins that battle and such was the case with Nemo ;)
