Orange Hues

We love Florida, mimosas, and orange sunsets, but when it comes to fashion, orange is quick to fall in the “Halloween” category. Sure, it’s a common collegiate choice worn with homage to one's own, and in summer a coral  tone is ideal for that perfect pop of color. However,  in fall and winter orange is full of risk. Let’s call this a little “How-to” on how to wear a bold hue... We’ve been observing our daily style routines and one thing has stood out a lot lately, namely, that when shopping and dressing, you have to know your body! In matters of orange, Darlene, with her dark hair and olive skin, is much more prone to wear orange with ease--she can even wear it in granduous amounts with a bold top or jacket complimented by neutral or navy bottoms. Steph, on the other hand, has red hair and fair skin, and you’ll therefore notice she only wears the color when in distance from her face… pants, skirts, etc.

So next time you look in the mirror, pause for a second and observe yourself.  Which colors compliment your skin tone best, and which you should avoid? Know yourself and you'll see the difference ;)
